4:00 pm-9:00 pm

Coral Gables City Hall

The South Florida Miata Club members will present their cars in the annual Junior Orange Bowl Parade in downtown Coral Gables on Sunday, November 26, 2016.

We meet in the staging area at the corner of LeJeune Road and Alhambra Circle between 1 and 3pm. The parade begins at 4 pm.

Update: The northern contingent will meet in the parking lot of the 84 Diner at 11432 State Road 84, Davie, FL at 1pm and convoy to Alhambra Circle between Douglas Road & Le Jeune Road in Coral Gables.

Please register so we may plan properly.

We’ll dress up the cars with holiday lights and decorations as we drive slowly past thousands of families and children. AND we will be on TV, too!

This is the signature event of the Junior Orange Bowl International Youth Festival. Hundreds of children and young people take to the streets of Downtown Coral Gables in this celebration of active youth and community. The Junior Orange Bowl Parade is a 68-year tradition in South Florida created especially for the kids — and perfect for families. Featuring a vivid arrangement of marching bands, colorful floats, community groups and creative parade units, this Junior Orange Bowl Parade is a dazzling spectacle that is not to be missed and certainly won’t be forgotten.

Miata Owners: you must coordinate your participation in the parade with Lou Marett: loumarett@gmail.com

After the event, we’ll gather for a bite and refreshments at Fritz & Franz Bierhaus around the corner at 60 Merrick Way.
